Here are just four things you can do with our beautiful sourdough baguettes. While there are so many, we kept this article basic with the very BEST things we love to use baguettes for!! 

1. The BEST Garlic Bread 

Make your pasta night even better!! Using a sharp bread knife, split the baguette longways to make two long half loaves. Combine garlic (freshly crushed is best), butter, sea salt, and herbs of your choice. Spread across cut side of baguette generously. Broil on medium-high heat for 3-7 minutes (This depends on your oven!!) Once it is browned to your liking, remove from oven, slice and enjoy!!!!

2. Veggie Sub Sandwiches

One of our families favorite things to do with our baguettes! Using a sharp bread knife, split the baguette longways to make two long half loaves. Spread mayonnaise generously on both sides. Mustard is optional, but really enhances the flavor! Using a variety of thinly sliced veggies, layer them over one side, We use cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, onions, sprouts, lettuce, avocados, and sometimes even sauteed mushrooms! Once the veggies are layered, salt and pepper them evenly. Now apply the top to your sub, push together carefully and firmly and cut it into portion sized sections. DELICIOUS AND NUTRITIOUS!

3. Sliced up for a beautiful addition to your meal.

To make the finishing touch to your meal, serve a baguette along with it! You can simply slice the baguette and serve it, but to make things the best…. Preheat oven to 400-450, place your baguette in the oven for 3-6 minutes as desired. Now slice and serve!! 

4. Appetizers or Hors d’oeuvres

To make up your favorite appetizers or Hors d’oeuvres, slice baguette thinly with a sharp knife, lay out the slices on a baking sheet and broil on medium heat until golden. Add your favorite toppings! We love to do this for our favorite sicilian olive spreads. You can also do this for avocado toast, or any appetizer arrangement.
