    Our family loves this sprouted sourdough! The first timeI tried it I was a little off put by the strong flavor because of past fake sprouted sourdoughs that could not be digested. However, once I realized that this bread was easily digestible (gluten intolerances) this loaf became my/our favorite! We also love how soft it is! We prefer it cold on a sandwich or just eating it alone etc. We used it once for baked french toast and the flavor of the sprouted wheat was lost:( We have found the rustic sourdough is best for fresh toast!     Also like to mention the superior customer service. I live all the way on the West Coast on a Peninsula and my shipments arrived too slow. This company uses Federal Express Ground which works well if one lives closer to this wonderful bakery but unfortunately not for us.
    I talked to Abigail, she fully understand and changed my delivery’s to UPS and I could not be happier. My bred arrived in half of the time Federal Express Ground was able to do. I actually talked to Federal Express and was told that Federal Express Ground ( not air) has been behind with their deliveries for about one week. Not good enough for perishable goods.
    Again, I am so glad this company changed carrier for me so that I still can enjoy this bred.

My 95 year old mom ate her bagel with butter this morning and said it was the best “toast”she’s had in years . I haven’t eaten gluten in years but CAN tolerate the sprouted sour dough whole wheat and the other sour dough products as well! We are so excited as a family to partake in breads made with love ! Then I read an article about bread that is authentic sourdough, that is using the old starter version and how this is so much more digestible so I thought I would try it.     Good bread is rare even from the local "bakery". I have had your spelt, whole grain, and sprouted sourghdough. they are all excellent for toast which I like to be crunchy. It's a little heavy and dense for sandwiches for me, though if warmed slightly I'm sure would be great for that too. I'm down to my last loaf so I will be reordering today! thanks for your prompt and delicious products. The oatmeal cookies are yummy too.

The bread was definitely not as soft and fresh as usual and smelled “iffy” I had been in contact with OBOH and they looked into but still made a whole new fresh order. I contacted fed ex and they told me the company needs to place a claim- which I hope you did because fed ex said they would reimburse the cost. The sourdough pasta is amazing. Even our one daughter commented it is so much better than the typical brown rice pastas and it is GF!!! All of the sprouted sourdough products we have tried are delicious and love how nutritious they are.

    I am a forever customer. In this season of life, I don’t have the time I would like to have to devote to making bread for my family, but I can’t find the quality I want to buy anywhere locally. This was such a fantastic find, now I place an order for our bread products for a couple of weeks and freeze it all, and then take out what I need for that week. It is so delicious as well, very soft for sandwiches and it toasts nicely because there isnt any junky oil in it. So glad I found this company!

    Because of medical problems I avoided bread for decades. I tried gluten-free bread but it made things worse. I had heard that sourdough bread and sprouted wheat flour were better so when I saw a sprouted sourdough bread from Alvarado Street Bakery I decided to give it a try. After awhile my knees began to hurt walking down stairs and jogging was completely out. It took several months before I realized it was the bread! As soon as I stopped eating it the pain went away. So, I was a little reticent when I heard about your sprouted sourdough bread on the Wise Traditions podcast, but I decided to give it a try. The knee pain, and other medical problems, have not resurfaced even after 4 months of eating your sprouted sourdough bread! A few months ago I took a closer look at the Alvarado sprouted sourdough bread and realized (as you said in your latest posting) it wasn't organic, it wasn't sprouted, and it wasn't sourdough! Only the first ingredient is organic. Instead of sprouted flour it used sprouted berries, and instead of sourdough starter it used cultured wheat starch and yeast!!! It also contains added gluten!!!! Needless to say, your bread has been a real Godsend and I pray that "the living bread who came down from heaven" continues to bless you.

We absolutely love the spelt bread and the wheat bread. My 11 y.o. daughter stated she did not have any stomach issues after eating this bread for either a sandwich or toast. Shortly after our first order we were on a visit to Michigan. We drove around Chicago and passed by Gary, IN on our road trip; I searched for billboard signs or perhaps a large sign along the road for "Organic Bread of Heaven". Sadly, we did not find it.     I really liked this bread. I like the fact there was no added yeast as sometimes is found in other sourdough breads. I wanted to try it after reading that sprouted wheat was better digested by the body. I am one who is gluten/dairy free with my nutrition because of a diagnosis of hypothyroidism. This bread did not cause a flare up of my autoimmune condition (psoriasis) when eating it. I am very pleased, and I will be purchasing more in the future.

    Sprouted sourdough is the best tasting and the healthiest bread we have ever eaten! All in my family of 6 love the bread. Bonus: it freezes great!!! I don't even touch any other bread except Organic Bread of Heaven!

    I have eaten this bread for so long as I know it is organic, made with the best ingredients and prepared with care, I eat 5-8 slices a day. The sprouted spelt sourdough is wonderfully dense bread, and the tortillas made of same. I eat them with all of my wraps. I ran out and am so glad to have an emergency Re supply on the way. Thank you, for answering the phone when I expected voicemail Your service and information (an excellent resource for “does this have this or that in it and what has the least fiber in it, questions.”) Prices are stable and fair and their excellent quality has remained steadfast for all my experience.
