Why We LOVE Certified Organic!

The number one thing that made our family’s decision to go 100% Certified Organic was the use of sewer sludge on crops. Thinking about that, you’ll realize how drastic the difference is between Organic and only being Non GMO, but there is so much more!

When you buy Certified Organic, there are no sprays and chemicals used, nothing artificial, no harmful preservatives, no toxic ingredients, no sewer sludge used on the fields, no herbicides, and no pesticides.

Besides all this, the certifiers verify that the seed is also Non GMO.

When you do not eat Certified Organic, you are most likely still consuming all those yucky things we just listed that Organic Certifiers do not allow. This is why CCOF gives us the Organic is Non GMO & More seal which is on every one of our products, because Organic IS SO MUCH MORE!!

We’re proud of the Strengthening Organic act and so happy to see the extreme measure that are taken to prevent cross contamination of Organic Ingredients. Organic ingredients are required to be kept in separate warehousing and facilities that are dedicated to Organic. Distributors cannot keep Organic and Non Organic ingredients in the same facility and they be used as Organic even for sealed products. The import laws for Organic just got much stricter too!

You might be wondering why we are making such a big deal about being Certified? It really IS a Big Deal!

There are companies and farms advertising this statement – “Beyond Organic” yet they have no accountability to a Certifier. Our family has run into many of these over the years. When you question them, they are not even using Organic seeds and are using chemicals in their fields.

Claiming Organic is not enough! You must KNOW what you are putting in your body. You only have one life so make it a healthy and happy life by using the Organic food God Created for us!

It is very easy to work with Organic Certifiers! They’re looking for ways to help you Go Organic & There are even grants for small businesses who can’t afford it.

Our family appreciates all the work and dedication they put into keeping our food safe so we can stay healthy!

We really don’t mind our inspections either! Yes, there is a lot of paperwork to show at the inspection, but we LOVE being accountable so you can KNOW what you are eating!
