To Freeze or To Refrigerate. Which One is Better
Tips From Our Family on How to Preserve Your Preservative Free Organic Bread of Heaven!
This becomes a big topic, especially in this heat! We recommend refrigerating or freezing your entire order upon receiving it. (Pasta, Granola, Bread Crumbs, Croutons can be kept in the pantry.)
Note: Our Protein Bars do not have to be cooled at all times, but to keep their freshness, we do recommend refrigerating or freezing them, if you will be storing them before enjoying them!
Our baked goods can be refrigerated for a few days, but keep an eye on them because they still won’t last forever! They may also lose some quality over time compared to freezing…
Freezing your bread is the best suggestion we have!
We love the idea of your freezing your entire order as soon as you receive it! This locks all that wholesome freshness in! Our baked goods freeze very well! You can store them in the freezer for up to 1- 2 months (for optimal freshness) if they are double-bagged.
If you are only freezing them short-term (1-2 weeks) the bags they come in will be sufficient.
These are facts our family has found helpful over the years!
A couple great suggestions from customers…
* Vacuum sealing before freezing has worked out great to keep orders fresher longer when freezing!
* Wrapping the bread in smaller portions so it can be taken out for lunches or for a small family can keep it fresher longer when freezing also!
Thank you so much for choosing our family’s bakery! Please let us know if you ever have any questions! We appreciate the privilege of being your bakers!

Thank you for the information! I’m wondering if I freeze your cinnamon rolls and chocolate/zucchini cake and cookies now and then eat at Christmas…will the texture, flavor still be awesome? Any tips on defrost/reheating timing for Christmas? Thank you so much:)
