Health “Fads” Are Always Changing… What Is RIGHT??

Since the beginning of your health journey, how many super foods or “Health Foods” have become popular then quickly phased when found not to be healthy or when the next “New Thing” comes out?? Superfoods and “miracle cures” never cease to amaze listeners… How can the whole “Health Food” world be so quickly infiltrated with each of these? Canola oil was used for many things until… Then we think of how quickly Soy filled the market. From Soy Milk, soy additives, soy cheeses… Soy was everywhere! Soy lecithin is found in bread and baked goods too! Then everyone went NUTS over nut milks and substitutes. Have you ever wondered why some of these things have become major allergens? Then comes the big question… Where did all the seed oils come from??

How Does This Happen?

Have you ever stopped to think… Who is behind the article or video you are watching? How much money is made based on your decision? Soy farmers think soy is the greatest thing. You might grow 2 inches taller just eating soybeans every day! Of course, they might say to never touch Coconut Milk because it just simply isn’t as conducive to their pocketbooks! We see the scary instance of how seed oils have FILLED all of our foods! Try to walk down the isle of even supposed “Health Food” stores and find a snack or even supposed “Healthy” Junk food that does not have seed oils, natural flavors, stevia and other chemical sweeteners, preservatives, etc? Are there any? (We do things like this sometimes, just out of curiosity, but it really is sad!) You would be shocked how few truly healthy foods there really are!! If you do find something without seed oils and other junk, most of the time it is not Organic, which is an ABSOLUTE NO NO!!

Natural Flavors are also made in a chemical laboratory and yet they are in most brands of supposed “Health Food”. What is in the Natural Flavors? These brands are not even required to label what is in the Natural Flavors! Did you know there are proven facts that these Natural Flavors are ADDICTING?? Do you wonder what the motive is behind these chemicals? God has given Real Food so much flavor, but it costs more time and more money to make a real quality product with naturally delicious flavor. It is much easier and cheaper to flavor everything to tickle the tastebuds. Then if customers become addicted, there is a double benefit!

Listen to this quote from a “Youtuber” “You only have to know 5% more than the average person to teach on “YouTube.” Why would you take advice from someone who is not healthy themselves? We should know 100% everything we can possibly know about a topic before we put people’s lives in danger with things we ourselves are still experimenting with. People are getting sicker and sicker with Health problems and gut issues through the roof! Why?? Could it be that we are filling ourselves with “Miracle Cures” and too much of some things and too little of others? How much processed “Health Food” do you eat?? Our body is not meant to digest processed foods! If majority of your “food” can sit on the shelf for months or even in the cooler section for that long, you should ask yourself, “Am I really eating food?”

So HOW Do We KNOW What to Eat?

Our bodies are meant to have a wide variety of nutritious foods. Our family uses a very clear guide for what to eat and what not to eat. We believe God knew best and still knows what is best for our bodies since He made us all! Our non-fast-food lifestyle consists of 80% vegetables and 20% of everything else that is non man-made processed food! Foods that have stood the test of time for thousands of years that are organically grown and raised without the “inventions of man” injected into them are the safest and most nutritious foods that your body needs. But these take time and effort and care to prepare properly…but your body is worth the time and effort.   If it was good enough in God’s law, it is still good enough today! We are busy – very busy, but we make the time to make sure we eat WHOLESOME FOOD!!
